What we are
A Network which uses the NMDC protocol to connect to the hubs so you can share old shareware files and can chat with other users that are connected to that hub......
How We became
This network was created 12th May 2006 & has grown from a few hub Owners who have become good firends over the years, and with these friendships we have become the network that you all know and love today........and with the support from all of you...... we can keep it growing.
Over the last 3 years we have seen many changes in the network, the first being the Forum which everyone should use more as its a brilliant resource for the Network and users...
MOB Network radio plays daily for the network, and many thanxs go out to all the DJ's (Specially Steve) and listeners that support it and make it what it is today......
The Future
Our main aim is to give everyone as much help and advice as possible, so, we have introduced the M.O.B. Client which is available to download for newcomers, taking away all the complications of setting up dc for the first time
Each user will be guided through their individual settings once in the hub by Operators and helpful users, so they can enjoy dc to its fullest, and, with it being available on the forum, the url is simple to pass onto friends who want to join in without having to initially enter a hub beforehand...
Please remember
Please remember DC is for Freeware Shareware and personal file.DC should not be use to download any copyrighted material. DC++ is an open-source, peer-to-peer file-sharing client based on chatroom sharing communities called hubs. In the hubs users can chat, browse each others files and share them and download a file list from a hublist. some are listed in the links.
Many other clients exist for the Direct Connect network, and most of these are modified versions of DC++,ADC is a new protocol for the DC++ client. It is still under development.
